Written to describe what this website actually does, not to be long. Last updated July 2026.
Only what you type into a form on this site: your name, email address, phone number, where you are travelling from, the journey and dates you are interested in, how many of you there are, and whatever you write in the message box. The newsletter form in the footer collects an email address and nothing else.
To answer you, to write and price a route, and — if you travel with us — to book the cellars, drivers, cooks and rooms your journey needs. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone who is not part of running your trip.
An enquiry that never becomes a journey is kept for two years and then deleted. Booking records are kept for as long as our accounting obligations require. You can ask us to delete anything sooner.
Write to hello@wineexplorers.bo and we will tell you exactly what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. No form, no reference number — a person reads that inbox.
Sending the form on this site starts a conversation. Nothing is reserved and nothing is owed until you have a written confirmation from us naming the dates, the route and the price — and you have agreed to it.
Every "from" price is per person in United States dollars, based on the smallest group that route runs with, and is a guide rather than a quote. The price that binds either side is the one in your written confirmation, along with the deposit, payment and cancellation terms for that specific journey.
Cellars are small and weather in the ravines is real. We reserve the right to substitute a producer, a road or a meal for one of equivalent quality when something is genuinely not possible, and we will always tell you why.
The text, the routes and the design of this site belong to Wine Explorers Bolivia. The photographs are licensed stock imagery used to illustrate the character of the valleys; they are not photographs of the specific cellars or rooms named on a confirmed itinerary.
Until you accept the banner, this site measures visits with a key held in your browser's session storage. It disappears when you close the tab, it is not a cookie, and it cannot link today's visit to next month's.
We set one first-party cookie, _sice_cid, so that repeat visits count as one person instead of five. A second cookie, _sice_consent, remembers your answer so we stop asking. There are no advertising cookies on this site and no third-party trackers.
Clear this site's cookies in your browser settings and the banner comes back. Declining costs you nothing: every page works identically either way.
